2/10/14 - First time at Green Valley - loved every moment of it. From the winter hot tubbing to all of
the birds that visited. Just what we needed. Peace, quiet, a light snow and relaxation !
Want to return in other seasons to experience all this lovely area has to offer. Cottage is clean, well
maintained and equipped ! Enjoyed the seasonal decorations and the lit candles in the window on arrival !

Celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. A wonderful place to relax and take in the quietness of this beautiful area. Relaxing in the hot tub after 18 holes of golf, watching the deer in the field while reading, having appetizers in the Adirondack chairs, breakfast on the porch. Thank You for a wonderful weekend.......The Franks
Thank you so much for making such a special getaway hideaway. This was our first trip here and we well def. be coming back. This mini vacation is just what we needed. You almost forget how peaceful and relaxing the world can be when you are always on the go. There is something very special about Green Valley that makes you forget anything negative/stressful in your lives. Thank you again for sharing this beautiful place with us. Green Valley is our new home away from home ! We loved fishing in the lake, pedalboating, campfires under the stars and to finish a great day a nice relaxing dip in the hot tub ! We'll be back soon ! September has brought clear blues skies during the day and gorgeous starry nights. The goldenrod is beginning to bloom and the swamp sunflowers are all along Bear Creek as it winds it's way for a mile through the valley. Beaver have built a dam near the bridge at Excelsior Cottage and it's a great place to observe Muskrats as they swim up stream with mouth stuffed full of grass. The deer are changing Summer coats for Winter ones and soon Fall colors will spread through the valley. Looking forward to some great hot tub weather !
Welcoming Spring at Green Valley means getting the lake ready for your fishing pole. We just stocked it for the season last week! Is there anything more relaxing than laying back in an Adirondack chair waiting for a bite?
It is almost impossible to explain how amazing it is here. It has been so nice to get away form everyday life and come to a place so peaceful and tranquil.
We spent some time doing things we don't get to do at home, hike, fish, bike, paddle boat, etc., but the best times were the quiet moments on the porch listening to the creek and birds.
We did get to see some beautiful things. A nest full of goose eggs.
Some deer in a clearing or two, and even deer by the creek right near the cottage.
We were so pleasantly surprised by all the little things you provided that made our stay even better, I.e. bird feeder and seeds.
This is our first time staying at G.V. and it won't be our last.
We snapped this shot last week while cleaning Exclesior. This is your view from the front deck! You know you're totally "away from it all" when the deer get this close!
Happy Monday to you all! Here's another "before & after" from Lory's recent paint job. We like the kitchen's new facelift and we're especially happy with the new cup shelf! What do you guys think?
Here's what one of our recent guests had to say about their time at Green Valley:
"We only discovered this property a couple of months ago, and we are already on our second visit.
That's how much we've enjoyed this slice of heaven.
It's to hard to find this kind of privacy and serenity anywhere, but especially at this price point.
We will be back for many more visits.
You don't have to take their word for it though, give us a call to set up your own reservation today!
We've been giving Lory Cottage a bit of a facelift this winter here and there. First up, a paint job in the living room. Just a subtle difference. What do you all think?
