It’s happening....the snow is disappearing....and more robins are in the yard. The air “feels” like spring. It’s time to pack away the snowmen and winter décor and bring spring into the cottages...yes, spring cleaning has begun. It’s time to move furniture, buy something new, freshen the cottages for our spring and summer guests. Spring feels good to me !

I know, I know, it’s still 32 days until it’s officially Spring, but I’m feeling optimistic today....and so, let’s take a break from Winter and Think Spring !!! I think Mark Twain said it best.... “It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want — oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain  Enough talk of snow...let’s talk Spring .... Because yesterday I saw a robin perched in the birch tree at Excelsior Cottage. And if there’s a little more snow along the way, that’s o.k. warm weather, bicycles, hammocks, and fishing poles will soon return to our valley. So, I’ll take a walk down the snowy lane, enjoying it’s beauty... while looking forward to the blooming of spring that’s just around the corner.  |
